The historic half-timbered house was built in the center of the historic town center in 1612 and has been restaurant “Altdeutsche” since 1882.
Over the centuries, the building has repeatedly adapted to the circumstances; it has been renovated, rebuilt and expanded.
It received the monument protection on January 23, 1987.
When we took over the house from the leaseholder
the “Landhotel Altdeutsche” already had two parts of the building:
The half-timbered house and an extension for the hotel business.
After extensive renovations, the WunnersWat opened its doors on August 15, 2019 with a wellness area, restaurant and bar.
